Another emotional video has surfaced online showing victims of the recent mass abduction in Oriire Local Government Area of Oyo State, with a nursing mother tearfully appealing for urgent rescue.
In the footage, the woman identified as Temitope was seen carrying her baby while pleading with authorities to intervene and secure the release of abducted teachers and pupils.
The woman, who said she works at First Baptist Church School in Ogbomosho, emotionally appealed to the Federal Government, Oyo State Government, and President Bola Tinubu for immediate assistance.
“I am Temitope, I am from Ibadan, I am working at First Baptist Church, Ogbomosho. Yesterday, the people came to our school and kidnapped both staff and students,” she said while fighting back tears.
“President Tinubu, help us. Our State Government, Engr Seyi Makinde, we need your help.”
The latest video emerged days after another clip circulated online showing Rachael Alamu Folawe, principal of Community High School, Esiele, also pleading for urgent intervention following the attack.
The abduction occurred after armed gunmen reportedly invaded multiple schools within Ahoro-Esinele and surrounding communities in Oriire Local Government Area.
Authorities confirmed that several teachers and dozens of pupils were abducted during the coordinated attacks.
During the invasion, assistant headmaster Joel Adesiyan was reportedly shot dead while trying to protect pupils and escape the scene.
The attackers were also said to have carted away motorcycles and other valuables before fleeing through forest routes.
Security agencies, including the Nigeria Police Force, military personnel, Amotekun operatives, hunters, and local vigilantes, have continued rescue operations around the Old Oyo National Park corridor where the abductors are believed to be hiding.
Governor Seyi Makinde had earlier confirmed the abduction and ordered intensified security operations across affected areas.
The disturbing videos have continued to trigger emotional reactions online, with many Nigerians calling for stronger security around schools and urgent rescue of the victims.
