IMG 9010 The NaijaWide NewsA group of residents in Ibadan, Oyo State, have publicly declared their support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The declaration was made during a rally where supporters voiced satisfaction with the president’s performance since assuming office, stating that they are willing to back him for a second term.

“We Will Vote Tinubu in 2027,” Supporters Say

Speaking collectively at the gathering, the supporters pledged loyalty to Tinubu, citing what they described as good governance and leadership under his administration.

“We will vote for Tinubu in 2027. We want him to continue his good governance in Nigeria. We are happy with his leadership,” the group said.

Rally Sparks Mixed Reactions Online

Images and videos from the rally circulated widely on social media, drawing mixed reactions from users. While some welcomed the show of support, others questioned the authenticity of the gathering.

A number of social media commentators suggested that some participants may have been mobilised through incentives rather than personal political conviction. However, no official evidence was provided to support the claims.

As political activities gradually begin to take shape ahead of the next general elections, public endorsements and rallies are expected to intensify across different parts of the country.
