Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has congratulated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his 74th birthday, describing him as a committed leader whose influence has shaped governance and development across Nigeria.
Sanwo-Olu, who also serves as Chairman of the South West Governors Forum, praised the President for his role in advancing economic growth and strengthening public confidence in leadership.
In a statement released through his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Gboyega Akosile, the governor described Tinubu as a respected statesman with lasting contributions to national development.
He noted that the President’s leadership has played a major role in the transformation of Lagos State and has extended its impact to the South West region and the country at large.
Sanwo-Olu said Tinubu has dedicated much of his life to public service and remains a strong advocate of democratic values and governance reforms.
He added that the President’s policies under his administration have focused on improving the economy and promoting inclusive leadership across different regions.
The governor also credited Tinubu with laying the foundation for modern Lagos during his time as governor, a legacy he said continues to position the state as a reference point for development in Nigeria.
According to him, the President has shown determination in addressing national challenges through reforms aimed at improving the lives of citizens.
Sanwo-Olu also offered prayers for Tinubu, wishing him continued strength, wisdom, and good health as he continues to lead the country.
