It was a dramatic night in the UEFA Champions League as Real Madrid, Arsenal, and Paris Saint-Germain all produced major results in the Round of 16 first leg matches.

Real Madrid 3-0 Man City

Real Madrid defeated Manchester City 3-0 at the Bernabeu, with captain Federico Valverde scoring a hat trick in the first half.

Los Blancos dominated the game from the start and now hold a strong advantage going into the second leg.

Arsenal 1-1 Bayer Leverkusen

Arsenal played a 1-1 draw against Bayer Leverkusen at the BayArena.

Leverkusen took the lead through Robert Andrich early in the second half.

However, Arsenal equalised late after a penalty scored by Kai Havertz in the 89th minute.

The penalty was awarded after Malik Tillman was judged to have fouled Noni Madueke inside the box.

PSG 5-2 Chelsea

In another big result, PSG defeated Chelsea 5-2 in their first leg clash.

The match turned after a costly mistake by goalkeeper Filip Jorgensen, which allowed PSG to take control of the game.

The heavy defeat leaves Chelsea with a difficult task in the return leg.

Second Leg Still To Decide Qualification

All teams will meet again in the second leg next week, where the final teams that will qualify for the quarter finals will be decided.
