A Nigerian lady has set social media on fire after boldly declaring that any man interested in her must be financially ready to spend between ₦5 million and ₦10 million within the first week of their talking stage.

The shocking declaration was made in a viral rant video that has since triggered heated debates across X, Instagram, and TikTok.

“Talking Without Spending Is a Waste of My Time”

In the now-viral clip, the lady made it clear that money is her primary yardstick for judging whether a man is serious enough to date or marry her.

“For me and you to be in a talking stage, you should be ready to spend at least ₦5 million to ₦10 million in the first week of us talking,” she said bluntly.

According to her, conversations that don’t involve financial commitment are meaningless.

She Slams ‘Dry Talk’ and Casual Chats

The lady questioned the value of everyday conversations if there’s no money attached.

“If I’m talking and you’re not pressing money, so what should I use your words to do?”

“What is the point of talking about favorite food, how was your day, and all that nonsense?”

To her, spending money is proof of intention — everything else is noise.

Clear Warning to ‘Broke Men’

She didn’t stop there.

The lady warned men who can’t meet her financial expectations to respectfully walk away, stressing that she has no interest in “managing” or “raising” any man financially.

“If you don’t have it, go and meet someone else. I’m not here to suffer or manage anybody.”

“Look at Me — I’m Worth It”

Justifying her stance, she pointed to her looks, self-care routine, and educational background, insisting she knows her value and refuses to let anyone waste her time.

According to her, financial generosity is not optional — it’s the entry fee.

Internet Explodes With Reactions

As expected, the video sparked intense reactions online:

  • Some applauded her for “knowing her worth” and being upfront.
  • Others accused her of turning dating into a business transaction.
  • Many mocked the idea, asking how many men in Nigeria can casually drop ₦10 million in seven days.

One commenter wrote:

“This is not a talking stage, this is a budget proposal.”

Another said:

“So love is now invoice-based?”

Love, Money, or Pure Controversy?

Whether seen as confidence, materialism, or clout-chasing, one thing is clear — the lady has succeeded in getting everyone talking.

And ironically, that talking stage she hates so much is exactly what she’s dominating right now.

Lady demands ₦5–₦10 million in the first week of talking stage 😳

Is this dating or business proposal? 😭
