Activist Accuses General of Weak LeadershipGrowing Frustration as Insecurity PersistsCall for Stronger Security Measures

Popular activist, VeryDarkMan, has taken aim at General Abdulmalik Bulama Biu, accusing the senior military officer of being too lenient in handling Boko Haram insurgents and Nigeria’s widening security crisis.

General Biu had recently urged Boko Haram members to repent, surrender their weapons, and accept rehabilitation — a call that stirred mixed reactions nationwide.

Activist Accuses General of Weak Leadership

Reacting in a viral video, VeryDarkMan said the general’s comments reflect weakness rather than decisive leadership. According to him, the worsening state of insecurity shows that those in charge are not taking strong enough action.

He said:

“Dear General Abdulmalik Bulama Biu, you are a general, not a pastor. This is why these terrorists keep increasing — because men like you, with the power and tools to stop them, keep sympathizing with them. You should resign because you are a weak general. This is shameful.”

His remarks instantly ignited widespread debate online, with many Nigerians agreeing that the country needs a tougher and more assertive security strategy.

Growing Frustration as Insecurity Persists

VeryDarkMan’s criticism reflects the rising tension among citizens as communities continue to experience attacks, kidnappings, and banditry across multiple states.

Many Nigerians say they are tired of what they perceive as lack of urgency and accountability from military and political leaders responsible for national security.

Call for Stronger Security Measures

The confrontation has reopened discussions on whether Nigeria’s current approach to counterinsurgency is effective, with increasing pressure on authorities to adopt robust strategies that prioritize public safety.

As insecurity continues to escalate, calls for stronger leadership, transparency, and action remain at the forefront of national conversations.
