Billionaire politician and Delta North Senator, Ned Nwoko, has accused Sammy Daniels, the elder brother of his wife Regina Daniels, of harassment and misconduct — alleging that he funded Sammy’s education and supported the Daniels family financially for years.
Ned Nwoko Opens Up on Family Rift
In a detailed Facebook post, Senator Nwoko claimed that Sammy consistently harassed his children and domestic staff, especially during periods when he was away.
He revealed that he had sponsored Sammy’s last two years at Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, including the purchase of musical instruments, rent, and furnishing of a flat in Abuja.
According to Nwoko, he also provided monthly allowances to Regina’s family members, claiming to have transferred over ₦125 million to her mother, Rita Daniels, within the last two years.
Drug Allegations and Rehabilitation Claims
The lawmaker further alleged that Sammy and another family member, Lawrence, introduced Regina to drug use, which he said contributed to her struggles before she began rehabilitation.
“In fact, Lawrence and Sammy were the ones who first introduced and supplied these drugs to her. They were deeply involved in the habit themselves, and rather than helping her get better, they kept drawing her back into the same destructive lifestyle,” Nwoko alleged.
He also mentioned that he once offered to sponsor Sammy for a Master’s degree in the UK, but he declined, choosing instead to focus on his music career.
Sammy’s Arrest and Detention
It will be recalled that Sammy Daniels was arrested in Lagos on November 6, 2025, before being transferred to Abuja for arraignment. He has since been remanded in custody pending the fulfillment of his bail conditions.
The family dispute has continued to generate massive attention online, with social media users reacting strongly to the ongoing tension between Ned Nwoko and his in-laws.
