Grammy-nominated Afrobeats superstar Davido is gearing up to thrill fans across the country with his highly anticipated ‘5IVE’ tour, a powerful homecoming for one of Africa’s biggest music exports.

After an exciting run across North America, the singer revealed that this Nigerian leg will celebrate his roots and reconnect him with the fans who have supported his global rise.

According to Davido, the tour is more than a concert. It’s a celebration of Nigerian culture and the Afrobeats movement that has taken the world by storm.

“I’m bringing it home” — Davido says tour is personal

The Timeless hitmaker shared the news on social media, expressing his excitement about performing for his home audience once again.

He wrote: “I’m blessed to perform all around the world, and everywhere I go, Nigeria goes with me. But this time, I’m bringing it HOME. This one’s for the culture. This one’s personal. This one’s for us.”

The heartfelt announcement has stirred reactions online, with fans expressing anticipation and pride ahead of the nationwide performances.

Tour to hit five cities with Lagos Christmas finale

The ‘5IVE’ Nigeria tour will begin on October 26 in Akwa Ibom, then move to Adamawa on October 29, Enugu on November 1, and Ibadan on November 9, before concluding with a spectacular Christmas Day finale in Lagos on December 25.

The tour is tied to Davido’s fifth studio album, 5IVE, released in April 2025, featuring global stars such as Becky G, Shenseea, and Odumodublvck.

From Akwa Ibom’s lively rhythms to Lagos’s festive spirit, Davido’s homecoming promises an energetic celebration of music, culture, and unity.
