IMG 9378A young man who went viral in 2022 after receiving a now-famous “bombastic side eye” from popular nightlife entrepreneur Cubana Chief Priest has resurfaced online, this time with serious accusations against the celebrity businessman.

The fan, whose brief encounter with Cubana Chief Priest turned into a viral moment, has now claimed that his life has never been the same since receiving a ₦500,000 cash gift from him.

How It All Started

Recall that in 2022, the young man became an internet sensation after a video showed Cubana Chief Priest giving him what many described as a demeaning look at a public event.

Following public backlash, Cubana Chief Priest later gifted the young man ₦500,000, a gesture that earned him praise online. However, in 2023, the fan openly admitted that he lavishly squandered the money.

“He Took My Glory” — Fan Makes Shocking Claim

Fast forward to 2025, the young man has returned to social media with a dramatic twist. In a viral video, he called out Cubana Chief Priest, alleging that his life began going downhill after receiving the money.

According to him, it feels as though his “glory was taken” through the cash gift, insisting that the money has brought nothing but problems into his life.

Demands Refund, Threatens Legal Action

In the emotional video, the young man begged the celebrity businessman to send his bank account details, stating his intention to return the ₦500,000 so he can “recover his glory.”

“Make una beg Cubana Chief Priest make him send him aza. I wan credit am him money back. Him money dey cause problems for my life… E be like say dem steal person glory. I wan recover my glory back,” he said.

He also lamented claims that he received millions, clarifying that the only money he ever got was ₦500,000, adding that the viral video still hurts him deeply. The young man went as far as threatening legal action, warning that the matter could end up in court if unresolved.

Social Media Reacts

The video has since sparked mixed reactions online, with some Nigerians expressing concern for the young man, while others questioned his claims and intentions.

As of now, Cubana Chief Priest has not publicly responded, but the unfolding drama continues to trend across social media platforms.
