The Police Service Commission (PSC), in collaboration with the Nigeria Police Force (NPF), has officially announced the commencement of applications for new Police Constables and Specialist personnel.
This follows President Bola Tinubu’s approval for the recruitment of 50,000 additional officers to boost national security and improve nationwide policing effectiveness.
Application Timeline
The online portal will be open from 15 December 2025 to 25 January 2026.
Eligibility Requirements
- Must be a Nigerian citizen by birth
- Physically and mentally fit
- Free from financial embarrassment
- Of good character with no criminal record
- Age:
- General Duty: 18–25 years
- Specialists: Up to 28 years
- Female applicants must not be pregnant at the time of training
Minimum Height Requirements:
- GD Males: 1.67m (with 86cm chest measurement)
- GD Females: 1.64m
Required Qualifications
General Duty:
- Minimum of five credits including English and Mathematics
Specialists:
- Minimum of four credits
- At least three years of relevant experience
- Trade Test Certificates
