4-year-old pupil locked inside teacher’s office for hours after school closed in Enugu

A 4-year-old boy in Primary One at Central School, Enugwu Akwu Achi, Oji River, Enugu State, was reportedly locked inside his teacher’s office as punishment after school hours.

The child was said to have been locked in the office after classes ended at 2 pm and wasn’t found until around 10 pm when his worried parents raised an alarm.

Community members reportedly broke down the door to rescue him after searching the school premises.
