Nollywood actress Ajara Lasisi, popularly known as Aunt Ajara, has reportedly passed away.

According to available information, the Yoruba movie star died in the early hours of today after battling a prolonged illness linked to her deteriorating health condition.

Brother Confirms Death

Her death was confirmed by her elder brother, weeks after a distressing video of the actress lying critically ill on a hospital bed and receiving oxygen went viral online.

Following the viral clip, several colleagues and fans had appealed publicly for prayers and financial support as concerns over her health intensified.
