A shocking anonymous confession shared on social media has sparked massive debate online after a woman admitted that the pregnancy she is carrying may not belong to her fiancé, just days before their planned Valentine’s Day white wedding.

The viral post, shared on X (formerly Twitter), has triggered widespread reactions, with many Nigerians urging her to tell the truth immediately before the wedding goes ahead.

Bride Price Paid, Wedding Set for Feb 14

According to the woman, her bride price has already been paid, and she is currently living with her fiancé, who is excited about the pregnancy.

However, she confessed that the unborn child is allegedly for another man she was dating at the same time.

In her words:

“Our wedding is coming up on the 14th of February and I’m pregnant already of which he knows and he is very happy.
But that pregnancy is not for him 😭
I have two people I was dating but he richer than the other person just that the other person is good in B E D….”

She added:

“I don’t know how far I can keep this from him. He is a good person, he deserves better but my bride price has been paid and we are staying together already just the white wedding that is coming up on the 14th of this month.”

Nigerians React: “Tell Him the Truth Now”

The confession has drawn heavy criticism, with many social media users describing the situation as a disaster waiting to happen.

Some reactions include:

Thessaloniki wrote:

“Bride price paid or not, you’re playing with someone’s life and future. Marriage isn’t a business deal. It’s better to lose a wedding than destroy a home.”

Mummyil wrote:

“So wetin want make we do😭 sooner or later the truth will still show so it’s best you tell him now.”

Lizzie wrote:

“Choosing someone for financial stability while hiding paternity is a disaster waiting to happen.”

Leyesrical wrote:

“You can’t build a strong marriage on a secret this big. He deserves to know the truth about the pregnancy before the wedding.”

Growing Conversations on Trust and Paternity

The post has reignited public discussions about:

  • Paternity fraud
  • Trust in relationships
  • Marrying for money vs love
  • The consequences of hidden truths in marriage

Many users warned that DNA tests and family resemblance often expose such secrets later, potentially destroying the marriage and affecting the child’s future.
