Cubana Chief Priest Responds to Critics
Taking to his Instagram page, the popular socialite questioned why an Igbo man supporting Tinubu is seen as betrayal, while people freely support candidates outside their ethnic region.
He wrote:
“If an Igbo man supporting Tinubu is a betrayal, what is a Yoruba man supporting Obi?
We can only be Nigerians for us to prosper in Nigeria.”
“Politics Should Not Be Tribal”
Cubana Chief Priest argued that Nigerian politics should not be driven by tribal sentiments.
He stressed that strategic alignment and national unity are more important than ethnic loyalty.
The post has since sparked mixed reactions online, with some Nigerians supporting his view, while others criticised him for openly backing the ruling party.
