The match scheduled for Monday, 5th 2025 will be played at the complex de sportif Fez at 8:00pm
Mozambique qualified for this round as one of the best third placed team would hope to move past a sharp Nigerian side.
Both teams have met 4 times in competitive games with Nigeria winning three and drawing one. They met in an international friendly back in 2023, Nigeria winning 2 3 Mozambique.
The Mambas of Mozambique will have to be at their best to curtail the threat of the Eagles considering how potent the eagles attack is.
Nigeria should be wary of the Mozambicans though, the team would be looking to be compact to stand a chance of advancing. Nigeria however would find consolation in the fact that the Mambas having qualified to the round as the best third placed team are Vulnerable in defence thereby revealing a loophole.
Nigeria are also weak defensively but they compensate for that with their sharp attack which has ensured they score 8 goals so far in the tournament.
