Family Announces Burial Arrangements for Late Nollywood Actress Allwell Ademola

The family of late Nollywood actress and filmmaker Allwell Ademola has officially
announced her burial arrangements, one week after her sudden passing.

In a statement circulating online, the family disclosed that the actress will be laid to rest on
Friday, January 9, 2026, at Atan Cemetery in Yaba, Lagos State.

Burial Programme Details

According to the released schedule, a service of songs, candlelight procession, and artiste night will be held on Thursday, January 8, 2026.

The event will take place at LTV8, Lagos, between 4:00pm and 11:00pm.

Death and Public Reaction

Reports confirmed that the actress and movie director died on December 27, 2025, after suffering a heart attack. She was 49 years old.

Her passing came as a shock to colleagues, friends, and fans across the country, triggering an outpouring of tributes within the Nigerian film industry.

Several Nollywood actors and filmmakers took to social media to mourn her, celebrating her life, talent, and contributions to the growth of the industry.

The family has expressed appreciation for the prayers, support, and condolences received from the public during this difficult time.
