A trending video has captured an embarrassing and awkward moment involving American YouTuber and livestream star IShowSpeed and popular Nigerian streamer Peller during Speed’s visit to Lagos, Nigeria.

IShowSpeed Arrives Lagos, Tour Sparks Buzz

IShowSpeed, who has been touring several African countries, recently arrived in Lagos, where he has been visiting notable locations and experiencing Nigerian culture firsthand. His visit has attracted massive attention online, with fans and creators eager to catch a glimpse of the viral streamer.

Peller Tries to Meet Speed — Gets Blocked

In the viral clip circulating across social media platforms, Peller is seen attempting to approach IShowSpeed, only to be forcefully bundled away by Speed’s bodyguard.

The incident happened suddenly, leaving Peller visibly shocked and confused as he was pushed aside and denied access to the American streamer. The bodyguard reportedly insisted on keeping him away, despite Peller being a well-known content creator with a large fanbase.

Video Sparks Massive Online Reactions

The clip has since generated intense debate online, with many Nigerians divided over how the situation was handled.

Some social media users felt Peller was disrespected, while others blamed poor coordination and management for the awkward encounter.

Mixed reactions include:

  • @dazzybtv: “Who dey manage this boy? He’s just downgrading himself. This is what happens when fame & money come without suffering.”
  • @RexChibuzo_: “Peller too has massive audience. It wouldn’t cost anything to recognize him. That was unnecessary.”
  • @Jeerex2: “They fumbled. Peller is one of the biggest streamers too.”
  • @FhisayoGraphics: “See snub 😭😂 He acted like he didn’t even see him.”

Social Media Divided

While some argue that security protocols must be respected regardless of status, others insist the situation could have been handled more respectfully, especially given Peller’s influence in Nigeria’s streaming space.

As IShowSpeed continues his Lagos tour, the incident has added another viral chapter to his visit — one that fans are not likely to forget anytime soon.
