Two-time heavyweight world champion Anthony Joshua defeated YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul with a sixth-round knockout in their heavyweight clash in Miami.
Despite expectations, Paul lasted into the second half of the fight and showed resilience. However, Joshua dropped him twice in a dramatic fifth round before finishing the contest with a barrage of heavy punches in round six.
After the bout, Joshua admitted he was “not at my best” but still used the moment to call out longtime rival Tyson Fury, saying:
“Put down your Twitter fingers, put on some gloves, and come and fight me.”
Paul later revealed he suffered a broken jaw during the fight and announced he would take time away from boxing following his second professional loss.
