Legendary Nigerian singer 2Face Idibia has finally addressed the escalating controversy surrounding his marriage to Edo State lawmaker, Hon. Natasha Osawaru.
In an emotional video now circulating online, 2Face said the people he expected to protect him—his own family—are the same ones who have “destroyed” him and pushed Natasha into harm’s way.
According to the music icon, the interference and internal conflicts that once troubled his marriage to Nollywood actress Annie Macaulay have resurfaced again, this time leading to even more painful consequences.
He said:
“My family, who claim they wanted to save me, have actually destroyed me and damaged Natasha’s character. My family did this same thing to Annie. Natasha is receiving death threats. They have ruined her whole life.”
Backlash, Threats and Online Harassment
2Face revealed that Natasha has been facing intense public backlash, including online abuse and death threats, following leaked conversations and viral videos related to their marriage.
He suggested that the hostility directed at her was fueled by certain actions from people close to him, which have now spiraled into a national discussion.
