Fresh concerns have emerged from the camp of iconic Nigerian singer, Innocent “2Baba” Idibia, as his management team alleges that internal interference is affecting the artiste’s career growth and halting major international plans.
The revelations came during an Instagram Live session with media personality Daddy Freeze, where members of the team opened up about troubling incidents they say have stalled major projects designed to push the music legend further onto the global stage.
“2Baba Needs to Reach the World” — Team Expresses Frustration
One of the management members lamented how much Nigerian entertainers rely on international audiences to sustain their earnings, saying:
“You go out there to make your money… even if it’s 100,000 people listening, the money is enough to sustain you.”
He added that internal issues have become a major setback, stating bluntly:
“2Baba needs to recognise that this woman is bad for business.”
The team emphasised that while they respect his personal life, they cannot ignore how certain actions have impacted his professional growth.
When Daddy Freeze asked about the involvement of the woman’s family, the team declined to go deeper:
“We don’t want to talk about family… this thing is deeper than what we’re seeing online.”
Team Member: “I Need Therapy for What I Saw”
One of the singer’s team members shared disturbing details about experiences inside the artiste’s home, saying:
“I’ve entered their bedroom and seen things I’m not meant to see. Daddy Freeze, I need therapy with what I’ve seen.”
He added that the team’s long-time mission has always been to reposition 2Baba globally, elevating him to the ranks of internationally respected African musicians.
International Tours, Stadium Shows Reportedly Blocked
Another team member revealed that several massive international plans were already concluded before everything suddenly stopped.
According to him:
“When I started working with 2Baba, my aim was for him to be larger. You can’t compare yourself to Burna Boy, but you can achieve what Angélique Kidjo has done. You can still do arenas.”
He claimed that the team had secured:
-
A UK tour
-
An African tour
-
Stadium concerts
-
Government-supported performances in at least five countries
However, everything reportedly collapsed:
“But Natasha came and said no. We’re stamping everything down. We can’t move.”
What This Means for 2Baba’s Career
The management’s statements have sparked widespread debate on social media, especially as the singer has faced increasing public scrutiny following viral videos and rumors about his private life.
The team insists their only goal is to preserve 2Baba’s legacy and revive the global momentum he deserves at this stage of his career.
