
Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has announced plans to take legal action against her estranged husband, Senator Ned Nwoko, following his recent allegations made on social media.
The Delta-born politician had earlier denied claims of assault while accusing Regina and her family of being involved in drug use, sparking massive controversy across social media platforms.
Regina Daniels Responds to Ned Nwoko’s Allegations
In her response shared via Instagram, Regina Daniels described Nwoko’s statements as hypocritical, claiming that he once encouraged her to take drugs, saying it made her “more attractive and passionate.”
The actress made a series of shocking allegations, accusing her estranged husband of physical and emotional abuse, confinement, and constant manipulation during their marriage.
“He forced himself on me repeatedly, locked me up, seized my phones, and called me mentally unstable anytime I tried to leave,” she alleged.
Regina Daniels Opens Up on Drug Claims
Regina admitted that she had used drugs in the past but insisted that it happened under Ned Nwoko’s influence. She questioned whether she was on drugs when she married him at age 17, emphasizing that her choices were shaped by his control.
Determined to Fight Back
Despite acknowledging the damage to her reputation, Regina declared that she would reclaim her narrative through the courts and continue to fight for justice.
“Yes, everyone! It’s now in history that Regina Daniels did drugs because that was what her husband wanted… My name is ruined for now, but I will rewrite my story. It’s time to fight in court. I’m not backing down now,” she wrote.
The actress’s post, which has since gone viral, has drawn widespread reactions from fans and fellow celebrities, many of whom have expressed support for her as she embarks on a public and legal battle with Ned Nwoko.
