Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has fired back at Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) President, Emeka Rollas, after he publicly sided with her estranged husband, Ned Nwoko, claiming she is battling addiction and requires urgent help.
What began as subtle tension between the parties has now escalated into a full-blown war of words, with both sides trading serious accusations.
Regina Daniels Rejects Rollas’ Claims
Taking to her Instagram Story, Regina fiercely denied Rollas’ statements, accusing him of being paid to tarnish her image. She wrote:
“What happened to the fatherly figure I admired solely because of the respect and devotion my mum had for you? I already know, so I can say for a fact that you were paid chicken change to speak nonsense about a child who benefited nothing under your administration, yet gave you the biggest honor you have — through my ex-husband.”
Her post followed Rollas’ lengthy Instagram statement, where he outlined what he described as his “truth” about Regina and her marriage.
Rollas’ Statement
According to Rollas, Regina is emotionally unstable and requires intervention. He claimed that notable Nollywood stars, including Okey Bakassi, Chinyere Wilfred, and Jide Kosoko, witnessed troubling behavior from her on set.
He also referenced an incident at her son’s birthday party, alleging that Nwoko confronted her over smoking, reportedly saying:
“If you stop smoking, you’ll have your own daughter.”
Rollas insisted his concern was not to shame Regina, but to encourage her to seek help, while also accusing her mother, Rita Daniels, of prioritizing AGN political influence over Regina’s wellbeing.
Public Reactions
The feud has ignited discussions across social media, with fans divided over the credibility of Rollas’ claims and Regina’s fiery rebuttal. Many are praising Regina for speaking her truth and defending her personal integrity.
