A Nigerian lady identified as Chizy, who went viral after being accused of cheating over an iPhone 16, has finally spoken out and shared her own side of the story.
Recall that a man alleged to be her husband accused her of abandoning their child at home to lodge with another man in a hotel. He also claimed to have paid her bride price in December.
However, in a new video shared by Chukeric on X (formerly Twitter), Chizy dismissed the marriage claims entirely.
“We Were Never Married. We Only Lived Together.”
Chizy said she and the man, identified as Heritage, were never legally or traditionally married.
“We only cohabited for five years, and in all that time, he never paid my bride price or held any form of wedding ceremony,” she said. “I am not married. No one should address me as a married woman.”
She emphasized that although they lived together, Heritage never made any attempt to marry her.

In a bold confession, Chizy admitted she intentionally met another man in a hotel to retaliate for the way she was treated.
She said she had no regrets because, according to her, she owed him nothing:
“I owe him nothing because we were never married. If he claims otherwise, let him produce evidence of any marriage.”
